Our Guarantee sets out what we promise you as a client. This page is about how we conduct ourselves while we deliver it — the standards the people acting for you work to when they deal with the person who owes you money.
We act in your name, so how we behave matters as much as what we recover.
Our authority comes from the courts. We act on a county court judgement or a High Court writ, and we follow the process that goes with it. Nothing we do should give a debtor grounds to challenge the recovery later.
Anyone attending on our behalf will say who they are, who they are acting for and under what authority, and will produce identification on request.
Debtors will feel sustained, professional pressure to pay. They will not be threatened, intimidated or harassed. Firmness gets debts paid; bullying does not, and it puts the recovery at risk.
There is a difference between someone who will not pay and someone who cannot. Where we find real hardship we will tell you and set out the realistic options, rather than press on regardless.
Once you instruct us we are acting in your name, often with your own customer. We behave the way you would want to be seen behaving, and we will not use tactics that could embarrass you.
Everything you give us is held securely and used only to pursue your case. We are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office, and we pass neither your details nor your debtor’s to anyone with no part in the recovery.
What you can expect from us as a client is set out in Our Guarantee. If you are ever unhappy with the conduct of anyone acting for us, tell us straight away on 0333 772 9342 and we will look into it.
